-OOC-
I: Admin and moderator word is final, please don't go around arguing or bad mouthing any staff, as we would obviously find out and then have to get out our angry faces, and that's just too much work. We're nice people please don't make us have to work at being rude.
II: Respect your fellow site member, grade school stuff guys right? As much as you respect your staff, respect your fellow site member. Remember all styles and views are different you are no grand poobah and if someone disagrees with you, please don't tweak an ovary over it.
II: This simply adds on to the previous rule and puts on point my biggest pet peeve. Don't under any circumstances ever blur the lines between OOC and IC, if you do I'll be forced to find out where you live and personally bash you over the head until you have some common sense... OK not really but still, keep me happy and we'll all be happy. Just because someone doesn't like you IC doesn't mean you have the right to talk down to them OOC, on those same term a character that loves yours IC doesn't automatically warrant a best friend OOC. Although I'm sure upon joining the site, you'll see we are all quite friendly.
III: Please no spam, I'm not a huge fan of the mystery meat is it really a surprise I wouldn't be a fan of the junk itself? I don't mind members posting in the ad board by any circumstances, but no pushing your site on others in the C-box and most definitely in any other board as I will be forced to take it down and have a talk with you. That sounds like a lot of work I don't wanna do, Capiche?
IV: We all have to go away from time to time, and just so we don't all go running on the assumption that rogue monkeys escaped from the zoo and took you back to their lair please post in the absence board for any known absences that will last longer than three days.
-IN CHARACTER-[/b]
I: No excessive cursing... It just looks bad
II: Before you post anywhere, make sure your character has reason to be there. For example a 22 year old actress has no business stepping foot in a high school if she isn't linked to a student or staff, so suddenly popping up would probably look creepy.
III: No godmodding, if you and the person you are writing with have previously talked out the thread and the direction it needs to take that's fine. Don't assume that you can just do what you think the character would do, that's just asking for problems, and we don't like problems... We like cookies.
IV: Please... No threadjacking. If a thread is already going on and you'd like to join, first ask then keep in topic. It's just not nice to go around stealing other people's stuff.
-CANONS&&APPLICATIONS-[/b]
I: While it's not required I suggest you reserve the canon you wish to take, because if you don't and someone else finishes up an app before you do, we will be forced to leave it to the person who had posted first.
II:Reserves only last three days and if within those three days your application isn't finished the character will be placed back up for grabs
III:Because I don't think that it should take more than three days to finish filling out an app, on the third day of an unfinished app an admin will post a 2 day warning if within those two days the app isn't finished it will be moved to the rejects board. You can get the app back of course, but if it happens once again we'll have to reconsider a third time.
IV:Canons are yours, but if after a set amount of time you are inactive with your canon we may feel the need to open up the canon once again. This is only for canons though, original characters are all your own to do with as you please.
V: Though canons are for the site, they are to help those that would like to join but don't have a character in mind, so on that basis changes to the canon are allowed. If there's a personality trait you'd like to add, take away or further define the choice is up to you. On that note if your looking ot change PB's it is also fine, so long as the face claim isn't of a different canon, or otherwise taken.
VI:When posting your application please post as LAST;first middle name, helps it look clean.
VII:In order to reserve a character you do need to register first, and have a name for the character thought out already.
-GRAPHICS-[/b]
I: Please don't stretch the boards with images try to keep it under 650x450 yes?
II: For my own personal preference, yes signature and avatar images are required, if you feel you need help with these images, our staff would always be more than glad to help just place a request in our graphics board and we'll take care of the rest.
III: Signature size should be kept at 480x450 less is fine but more is pushing it.
IV: Same goes for avatars, anything under 150x250 is all good.
V: This should go without saying, but any slanderous, lascivious, or plain tacky and over sexual images will be taken down and you'll receive a warning. It's common sense guys.
((&&TEEN CHARACTERS&&))[/b]
*This is perhaps the most important section pertaining to ALL future members
The teen aged category is for those that would rather play younger characters, which is why the site was made with a broad range of choice.
That being said the following rules must be followed and those who break the rules will not be hesitated from banning NO EXCEPTIONS
I'm not going to lose a site I worked hard for over a stupid case of teenage hormones:
I: Under no circumstances will these characters (aged anything under 19) be allowed to have some sort of mature content in any threads. If I or any mods see this, it will immediately be deleted your account and characters following suit.
II: There is a wide spectrum of boards (done so intentionally and for this rebason) so while it isn't impossible for your character to sneak into a club once or twice, frequency will not be tolerated.
III: Drug use or Alcohol abuse in a heavy blatant manner is another issue. While I'm sure most probably will at some point on this site use a substance before legal, anything that borders excessive will warrant a PM from myself or a moderator.
IV: This coincides with the first rule but is a bit more to the point, no character over the age of 20 is to be involved with a character under 18 in the sense of romantic links and or mature relationships, anything starts looking funny we'll nip it in the bud ASAP.
And of course the most important rule of all: Just have fun with it, this is to destress not want to pull our hair out right?
