I: So glad you took the time out from your schedule to sit and have chat with me. Let's start with the basics, yes? I love your name, there any special story behind it?well thanks. -smile.- not much of a story really, compared to some people I know, but Oscar was my great grandpa on my mom's side's name, and Elijah was my great grandpa on my dad's side's.
II: I'd never known that about you, do your friends or family call you anything else?some of my close friends just call me "O," but it's usually "Osc" or something of that sort I guess. my parents just call me "Oscar," but my older sister calls me "Rocko." she made it up when I was a baby, and it just stuck really.
III: Hey it's better than getting called Pookie right? Haha, so just how old are you exactly??well I just turned 16 on April the 18th. that exact enough?
IV: Hm, I never would have guessed either way you look great but I'm sure you hear that all the time, I mean look at you! What do you do to keep in such good shape?thanks... I guess. I can't do much about my height, five foot nine isn't quite tall enough though. I'm around 150 or so pounds, and all I really have to do is exercise occasionally. I have a pretty fast metabolism apparently. but you can see, I'm not particularly ripped either. if I wanted to buff up I probably could, but I don't go to the gym any more than once a week so that's not gonna happen. I don't do anything to my hair besides going to the barber shop sometimes, but I do shave. if I didn't I'd have some sort of stubble, I wouldn't be able to grow a full on beard though I don't think.
V: The last time I tried doing that, I gained five pounds some people have all the luck I guess. Now it's time to get into the nitty gritty, what do you do for a living?well I'm still a student, so I don't really have a real job yet. I'm an intern for this screenwriter who's friends with my dad, but I don't get paid unless by some miracle I write something he likes. and I did just start working at a gelato place a couple of times a week after school, so I get some money from that.
VI: That really suits you, did you have to study extra for something like that?not for that, no, besides eating lots of ice cream. I go to Hollywood High though, if that's what you mean. I don't really have plans for college yet, but I might not even go if I think I can stay in Hollywood for writing.
VII: Speaking of school, I can tell you were probably really popular, who's hearts are you going around breaking these days?not too many I hope, but you never know with those girls.
VIII: Does this mean you're flying solo? Or are you playing house with any special someone?I've got my eye on a few, but I haven't had a girlfriend for more than six months.
IX: Even so, I'm sure there are a few things you look for in that potential squeeze, why don't you name a few?yeah, doesn't everyone? a girl has to be able to make me smile with almost everything she says, and have a cute laugh too. I guess I usually go for black hair or brown hair too, although I haven't thought about it until now. I love perfume too, flowery good-smelling stuff. hmm... oh! and converse. I love me a girl in converse.
X: And what is it that you don't like?well my major pet peeve is when a girl's too damn clingy. like seriously, if we're away from each other for a bit, you aren't going to shrivel up and die, are you? and ruining nice moments. girls seem to think guys hate just relaxing with them, but I really don't need to be talking or making out to be comfortable with my arms around her on a couch. wow, I'm getting all fired up now aren't I? well let me think... anybody too fake is an immediate 'no thanks.' and b.o. of course. on the topic of hygiene, bad breath and girls who go au naturale are also... unattractive.
XI: Away from the topic of romance for now though, what are a few things that you like on any given occasion?oh, I actually have a list of things I like on my phone here, gimme a sec... okay... bread, bouncy balls, screenplay format, Disneyland, flannel shirts, short dresses and shorts... anything blue, baby animals... the list goes on, those are just at the top. keep in mind there's no particular order to this thing.
XII: Anything you wouldn't get caught near or doing?well I don't like champagne. I've had a sip of my mom's once and it's pretty repulsive. oh, I really don't like dots. you know, those candies? all gumdrops really, I don't like the texture or the taste of them. blech. super hard pillows also are just uncomfortable, I'd rather sleep straight on the mattress than have a rock hard thing under my head. umm.... I'm not into the whole doc martin boot fad either. don't really like them on girls. like really, it's not like you're going on a safari, right? what's the point?
XIII: That's funny I actually hate that last one too, how about fears? Is there anything you can't handle?spiders for sure. girls want you to be all tough and smush them but I'm the guy who can't. death too, I think. I figure that's why I've always tried to live life to the absolute fullest. also, torture I suppose. I can watch insane horror movies, but as soon as they involve torture I can't handle it. not sure why really...
XIV: I never would have thought, but i can understand, so is your family from around here?well, my dad grew up on the east coast, but my mom was always from around here. my dad ended up coming over here for movie directing jobs, and has been doing pretty well since. at first I don't think they lived in Hollywood though. more like Venice I think? once my sister was going to start school and I'd just been born though, they decided that moving to Hollywood would be safer and more convenient for my dad's work. we've lived in the same house since.
my sister is now 22 and in college, she's a lot into architecture and carpentry. we're really close. my dad is still directing. you've probably heard of some of his movies, actually, but I'm not going to list them all now or anything. my mom's a chef, and she is thinking of opening up her own restaurant. so that'll be cool.
XV: Well that's nice, I'm sure they know you best right? No need to put on airs, how is it when your with them?yeah, they definitely know me best. my sister especially, like I said, we're really close. but I think when I'm around my family it's a bit different than with my friends. when I'm with my family I'm much more relaxed for one thing. I don't feel like I do with my friends where I sort of have to keep us all moving and in high morale. at the same time though, I'm sort of more... excitable. things I would normally pretend not to care about, I don't try and hide my excitement about. and yes, it's always excitement I hide with my friends. nobody gets down on you if you criticize stuff, but if everybody is criticizing something and you really like that thing, they think you're stupid.
sorry, I'm not very good at describing myself. I figure if I say something good it's bragging and if I say something bad it's fishing for compliments. lose-lose right?
XVI: Sounds like you've got some memories to keep with you always, feel like sharing?hm, that's tough. is a more general thing okay? me and my sister and some of the neighbor kids used to get together and play school. I was always the youngest, but for some reason, I was always the teacher. I'm not sure how old I was when we used to do that, I'd have to ask my mom, but that age was definitely the best time of my life in general.
oh, and now that I think about it, all those nights when me and my sister would just watch movies together when we were younger. we'd watch stuff that none of my friends watched at the time, because they were geared towards girls my sister's age, but I watched them anyways, and loved them. we'd sit in the tv room and have big bowls of ice cream and be covered in blankets and just watch. we rewatched so many movies too. I don't know what made us not get tired of them, but we never did.
XVII: That must have been a great time, but what brought you here to these bright light city?oh, well like I said, my parents moved us here when I'd just been born. they figured that Venice was no place for two little kids. Hollywood was more convenient for my dad's job as well.
XVIII: That's as good a reason as any, but I'm sure you miss your roots, where are you from exactly anyway?Venice, I suppose. but Hollywood's always really been my 'hometown' so to speak.
XIX: Our times almost up, good thing I'm almost done right? This question's been killing me since we started though, has anyone ever told you, that you look exactly like Logan Lermanhaha, yeah, actually. I've heard it once or twice. never really understood it myself, but it's always hard to see yourself in someone else.
XX: So before I let you go, just one last question and have fun with it. If you could use one word to describe yourself what would it be?writery. do made up words count?
It was great to be able to meet with you and anytime you'd like to talk outside of work... Why don't you give me a call?uh, how about you call me instead?
All right, the gig's up -dul- did you really think I wouldn't have known? I gotta admit you almost had me going but really who are you trying to fool? I've known you how long? -three to four years- buddy, and at -this hurr joint- that's no joke darlin'. How is -your mother- doing? I've heard some stuff about 'em from -that purple mushroom dinosaur man- so why don't you do me a favor and try to stay outta trouble yeah? I'll be keeping an eye on you just in case...
Application the creation of admin&owner GEE !. No stealing and no modifying the form because then I'll be forced to use my angry voice, and that is too much energy I don't want to waste. Lyrics used were Poison by Nicole Scherzinger. One more time, no thiefing and no tweeking, because i will find out. And an angry GEE is a GEE no one wants to see. Thank you and have a good day
