Seda rolled over onto her stomach, the sheet tangled around her naked and relaxed body, her hair disheveled and splayed out against her bed as she took up as much space of her bed as she possibly could. She could hear the rustling of her "partner" as he searched for his clothes and excused himself. It was just some no name musician (with a few grammy's under his belt but let's not get stuck up on technicalities here) with a bad attitude, bad habit and overall just a plain pain in her ass but who was Seda kidding, they were volatile chemicals that collided horribly great. He could scratch an itch no one really reached and if she managed to look past his disgusting drug habits and horrible caveman behaviors, he wasn't terrible looking, she'd of course never be caught dead out in public with the likes of him or any of the other doped up musicians and celebrity has beens he associated himself with, but hey it was 5 in the morning, who was going to be looking, even the paparazzi had to sleep.
When she heard him searching for his shoes and managing to run into her dresser, Seda couldn't help but to snicker softly to herself, making no move to check on him or even to really bother to see if he'd leave. Honestly she was more so surprised that he'd stayed even as long as he'd had, he'd taken a small nap while she stayed awake simply staring at the ceiling, not quite OK with the fact that he had managed to pass out on her bed, Seda didn't want this junkie thinking that they would ever get any closer though she knew there was a snowball's chance in hell that he'd want to be with her either. He'd publicly spoken out against her fame time and again, Seda didn't really care though, she just didn't want him suddenly proclaiming any sort of emotions to her because than she'd have to be forced to hurl him off her building.
While she let him continually fumble around blindly for whatever else he needed from her room, Seda turned her face to the large bay window wall that revealed the deep indigo sky. For a moment her mind went blank as she let her eyes linger on the ethereal glow of the moon that filled her room. She let out a soft sigh as she wondered to herself, not for the first time where it was her wiring had gone haywire. Seda saw all her peers and while yeah most had some dysfunction to them or another, they were happily dysfunctional with someone else, something she just couldn't bring herself to desire. Why be with someone who would eventually lie, who would eventually grow tired of your antics, it was easier to find people who couldn't stand you than people who could accept you for who you were faults and all.
The young actress was drug out of these depressive thoughts though as she felt the harsh slap to her ass followed alongside the snide laughing and remark.
"You're money's on the dresser."
Smirking to herself and laughing, Seda rolled over once more onto her back, not caring how the sheets fell or what they revealed.
"You could never afford me, now don't forget to lock the door on your way out, and please be quiet, I need my rest." That said Seda once again rolled over onto her stomach, hugging her pillow tightly, rolling her eyes slightly as she heard her play thing stomp his way down the stainless steel steps and practically knock the door off it's hinges, but she didn't really care. Chances were her friend had already gotten up for her day and she was all the way on the third floor, so while she'd hear it, she'd probably only assume what she already knew had happened.
Men were all so predictable, they thought they were God's gift to woman and pouted like big giant babies when they realized that that just wasn't the case. There were those rare cases though, the man that snuck down so deep into your skin you wanted to just find a way for a peace of mind from them. The men that didn't know what they did, but they just did it so damn well... Men like her ex.
The thought was enough to deter any sleep from the A-list actress as she rolled over once again to stare at her dimly lit ceiling. It was almost laughable to still be so affected by a man who had long forgotten her, a man who hadn't really ever liked her and dated her out of pity. Her of all people, the idea was as laughable as it was true. Seda had been absolutely smitten with Israel, he had been the man she'd fallen in love with since she'd seen him, since they were children but it must have been foolish to think that things like love were meant for some adoptee, her parents had dumped her off, which hey Seda didn't mind because she'd had all the opportunities to find the parents who'd abandoned her but she didn't care to know because her momma and her papi were waiting for her to visit any day now down in San Diego.
Who was she kidding though, she couldn't keep a boyfriend before her fame so where would she be able to find one that could handle her ego while not letting his own bruise simply because a picture of her was going for almost a month's worth of rent nowadays, and that was her eating a sandwich imagine the anarchy if they caught her doing anything slightly grittier.
With a bitter sigh Seda rolled over once again, her face away from the window and the light it was steadily bringing into the room, closing her eyes Seda's only thing she could look forward to at this point was a day of sleeping in and being left alone. No exes, no dirtbag one night stands, and best of all, no working out. Yeah, that's exactly what Seda needed, a day without men. Sometimes she wondered if it would be easier just becoming a lesbian, though she knew that emotionally unstable women were running just as rampant as no brain men. Laughing to herself, Seda finally let herself give in to the pull of sleep as she shifted her face in the pillow and with one final sigh, fell into a calm rest.Cyclone - Baby Bash
