The day had been beautiful enough to pull Seda out of her shell, despite what her bastard trainer had done to her and despite the fact that every muscle in her body begged for her to stay still. It had been the worst chore in her life to put on her shorts, her legs and stomach practically quaking at her every movement. Seda had never imagined being able to hate someone as much as she did Jackson but oh she did.... Well her manager was pretty low on her shit list too actually. They were both meddling with her money and swearing that it was for the better, but if she wouldn't even be able to get dressed how was this going to work... Well... that was probably a bad argument and despite herself, Seda laughed softly as she fastened her shorts, feeling them slightly more snug than usual. If she was gaining weight, there would be blood shed, and there would be one less redneck trainer in the world of Los Angeles.
After finding an airy shirt that would keep her cool as she did her best not to grimace in pain from every single motion her body made. Even putting on a simple pair of boots was hell as she did her best to tie the laces without cringing in pain. After tying 'Nela to her leash and finding a pair of sunglasses Seda locked her door and left her penthouse for the day in hopes of finding some relaxation.
Her toy Pomeranian seemed just as eager to go on this adventure as she did her best to hurry her momma up, though really the last thing Seda wanted to do was walk but knowing that sitting around wasn't going to do anything in terms of helping her aching muscles. Waving at the front desk when she passed by on her way down to the garage where her car was, Seda waited patiently for the elevator, ignoring the feeling of being stared at though there was that feeling of wanting to stab someone in the eye but the elevator came fast enough to save someone from the pain of that.
Once in her car, with her baby settled calmly in her seat Seda thought of where to go. The beach seemed to keep popping up but she wasn't really dressed for a lonely day at the beach, so she figured going down to the pier would be a good enough substitute, she'd at least be able to see the ocean, and possibly get some cotton candy, and if her trainer hated it well he could screw her, she had been going through hell for what felt like eternity now and he'd even convinced her friend to get rid of the junk food. How, Seda wasn't sure but if she caught the Jackass playing sleepover one day he'd be very sorry.
The drive to the pier was oddly silent for the girl, while 'Nela napped with the warmth of the sun but the cool air of Seda's air conditioning, Seda kept her music playing softly while she waited patiently in the midday traffic. Her thoughts drifted slowly from one thing to the other, to her trainer and manager ruining her life, to her best friend never being around anymore, and to her all to risque second life. Letting out a sigh as she ran a hand through her hair, Seda thought about Brady and what it was that had even attracted her to him to begin with. They'd met in a club while she was still doing modeling, he'd heard of her through God knows who and followed her closely, even back then Seda could tell he was as high as a kite but something about him clung to Seda like a leech and while she was in the middle of filming her breakout film, she was als in the middle of spreading her legs for some trashy, low grade smut film-- and loving every moment of it.
Seda didn't know what it was about Brady that had her there in the beginning but now all she knew was that if she made him angry, she'd be blacklisted from everywhere and everything. It turned her stomach every imaginable way to think that if she managed to piss Brady off he'd be over nighting a copy of every film she'd ever made to her parents, and just the possibility of that stopped Seda's heart. She may have been slowly growing a pair of eyes, but that didn't mean she wasn't terrified for what it was she'd allowed someone to do to her.
Finding a nice spot to park a few blocks from the pier itself, Seda sat still for a moment and looked at herself in her rearview mirror. She'd been adopted into a great and loving home, everything she could have wanted she'd had, and while her heart may have been broken and her pride smashed all before she'd even had a clue as to what it was that had happened. Seda didn't want to think that it was all his fault she'd done this, she didn't want to think that some two timing bastard engaged to her best friend's little sister could really have been so fundamental to her life, but well maybe it wasn't that as much as it was the fact that Seda had been dating the All-American boy had been in love and the whole time he'd been with her it was only because he was too scared to talk to his now fiance.
Then just like that all her anger seemed to come back full force and Seda wondered why exactly it was that she hadn't decided to shave her head and become a man hating lesbian, then she remembered that sex with them could be just too damn good to let go of. She may not have ever had a single good relationship but at least now, Seda could get it without being tied down, and at least now the guys she was screwing knew what it meant to screw and not fumble around blindly trying to figure out what would make it last longer than the five minutes it took them to be done with it. She was angry and she was extremely bitter towards men and relationships but at least out of all the mistakes she'd made in teaming up with Brady, the best part about her relationship with him was the lack there of it.
Giving herself one last look of determination that whatever was to come after this would come and that was that, Seda put her glasses back on and got out of her car, 'Nela following eagerly as they made their way as anonymously as possible through the mass of people walking in every which direction. The cool air rolling in from the ocean served to relax Seda evermore as she picked up her Pomeranian to keep her from getting smashed by someone's foot and as she strolled up the wooden pier the signs for the annual twilight dance caught her eyes and she smiled, she'd never been to one (call her old fashioned but Seda always thought those sort of things were meant for people that had dates) but she'd heard of how great the pier was during the festival and she'd always secretly wished someone would think to be romantic enough to bring her here, but no such luck. Chivalry really was dead.
Stopping by at a stand, the first thing Seda did was buy herself a large stick of pastel blue fluffy spun sugar and her eyes practically lit up as she paid for her sugary treat and set down 'Nela to indulge in her long forgotten friend. Walking down the pier, Seda slowly cherished her sweet friend, letting the sugar melt away in her mouth, turning her tongue and fingers blue while she forgot the rest of the world. At the end of the pier, where there were less people Seda found herself a spot on an empty bench and picked up 'Nela to rest with her, though it seemed all the dog wanted to do was steal a treat of her candy, making the girl laugh as she pulled away the sugary treat, starting a small game of Monkey in the Middle with her dearest friend, completely lost to the rest of the world, if only for the moment.S&M - Rihanna
